Yard Bird Bar & Kitchen - Highly Recommend - 10/10

You'll find this place sitting on the balcony and around the bar on the first floor of the Shamrock.

Yard Bird is American home-style cooking and is absolutely my favourite place in Bendigo right now. The food is hearty, and positively scrumptious! Try the brisket. No really, eat the brisket and thank me later.

I went with a group of friends and we were shocked and surprised at the excellent value, customer service and quality of food. We all shared nibbles of each others plates so I can tell you - The Southern Style Yard Bird chicken is like KFC was meant to be. Only so much better. The catfish is tender and beautifully coated. Brisket my favourite, to die for. Even the hot dog was extraordinary!

My vote: Go there this week. Have a cherry coke and embrace good eating! Make mine a permanent table. 10/10
