I'll be the first to say I'm a regular here. If I don't make the cutoff time for Get Naked Espresso, this is where I grab my latte. It's also a great place for lunch! The atmosphere of the main building is quirky but personally, I prefer the new extension in aesthetics. It's just so calming, chill. The staff are generally lovely, but sometimes seem stretched and sometimes confused or forgetful.
The coffee is good though not jaw-dropping, and they never have enough cold drip, which is rumoured to be amazing but still a myth to me. The juices are fantastic but seriously pricey. Try the Fresh Prince of Belair, it's awesome and hard to stick to one.
The menu itself has a smaller range but all interesting options with sometimes strange ingredients and techniques I have googled more than once. Complexity isn't an issue though when the flavours meld so harmoniously.
While my usual go to is the bowl of chips with lime aioli, my other two favourites are the Smoked Salmon breakfast and the Avocado On Toast (pictured below). The smoked salmon dish has green peas, avocado, goats cheese, sweet beetroot relish, asparagus and a poached egg and is the perfect example of flavours coming together in unexpected ways. I honestly scoffed when I spotted beetroot on my plate. Then I ate it. And my taste buds sang. Avocado on toast may be a classic but there isn't anything classical about this hearty delicious breakfast. With burnt onion, heirloom tomatoes, beetroot & carrot crisps on that amazing nine-grain toast it packs a taste punch and makes for a stunning Instagram picture.
My Vote: Brunch is a must, go this week. Good food, good coffee, good prices. It doesn't get much simpler (or better!) than this. 9/10
