Wholefoods Kitchen Bendigo - Highly Recommend - 8/10

Whoever said you can't make friends with salad have never had a salad bowl from Wholefoods Kitchen. The business seems to be absolutely booming, to the point there is a bit of a fight at times for seating.

Pictured below is the love bowl of my life, the Marinated Lamb with feta salad bowl. With plenty of leafy greens as well as things like legumes and barley and such, create a very filling hearty salad that will make you feel full, satisfied and not even a little bit naughty. The Marinated Lamb is so so soft and perfectly delicious I only wish there was more of it. The feta I found to be a little too large a chunk for such a leafy counterpart.

I also had a berry smoothy which was a little crunchy for my tastes but lovely in its rawness. I found the prices to be a little too high for what is essentially a salad bowl, however try to keep in mind the ingredients are organic local produce. This is supporting your town and surrounds in the most delicious way possible.

With a range of salads that make a hard choice to pick I am dying to get back. Now if only I could get a salad bowl past 3pm! Siiigghh <3

My Vote - If you are prepared to pay $15 for a bowl of salad, and you don't want to feel greasy afterwards this is the bowl for you. Local products really shine here, and I can say I did not waste my money. Thought it would not be an everyday meal because of bang for buck, its value is quality. 8/10
